KELIGRIT™ INSTALLATION

Pour mixed resin into the bottom of clean air blown drilled holes. The holes may be damp, but should not have running or standing water present.*

The rods are pushed to the bottom of the holes and rotated to assure total "wetting". They are left undisturbed until the exothermic gel occurs, which happens within 40 minutes to 2 hours depending on the ambient temperature at the time of installation.

After the material has cooled following the gel stage, it will have 50 to 60% of its ultimate strength. Complete cure is assured with 24 hours.

*Call for special advice if these conditions are unavoidable.

picture 1. Mix Keligrit™ and silica sand together

picture2. Thoroughly mix with jiffy mixer for at least three to four minutues

picture3. Add catalyst, then use the jiffy mixer in a rotary movement around the perimeter of pail mixing for at lest threee to four minutes. NOTE: Make sure catalyst is thoroughly mixed top to bottom.

picture 4. Pour or ladle the resin mixture into the bottom of the hole. To determine the amount of resin required, see table below. Place anchor and rotate to assure full "wetting" of surfaces. Do not disturbe the anchor for 1 hour.

Equals cubic inches of Keligrit Required*
*To find the cubic inches of material required to fully embed an anchor in a given hole size: Subtract the size of the bar's area from the size of the hole's area and multiply by the depth of the embedment. To find the number of fluid ounces required multiply by .55.
32.000 fl. oz. / 57.75 cubic inches = .554

There are: 1728 cubic inches in 1 cubic foot. 231 cubic inches in 1 US gallon. 57.75 cubic inches in 1 quart (32 fluid ounces).
